Pros

Work with nice lateral colleagues. Other than that, it’s a bizarre environment. Force you to post multiple social media on your own LinkedIn.

Cons

Do NOT give a two week notice when you quit, they will release you immediately without pay even if you have a baby to feed at home and candidates to make offers to. There are a lot of mixed messages to tell candidates, Multiple Sr recruiters have left in 2021. All competitors pay a much higher rate. There’s a good reason Recruiters don’t want to work with the chaos at IQVIA for Recruiting. We are told from day one to never disagree with the process of background checks because the team will not work on candidates backgrounds, they play favorites and end up messing with peoples lives. I knew one month into starting this was a huge mistake. I was hoping it would have been amazing here but it was the opposite, always have plan B ready to quit and again don’t give a two week notice!

Pros

Talented people. Most are enjoyable to work with who are happy to help you with work or career. Tech strategy is strong for newer offerings. Opportunity to learn many areas of the Pharma consulting industry. Remote location in most cases. Salary is decent.

Cons

Poor health insurance offerings with a very high employee cost. Not only are premiums high, but the plan continually offers less benefits and higher copays. You had better have additional insurance if you get a major illness with these plans or you could be in a world of debt. Bonus is often well under target for mid-lower level employees.

Pros

Nice people, work-life balance for mothers (they let you work from home)

Cons

Many perks that we used to get are gone with the new management who is very cheap, health benefits are worse this year than ever before, bonuses are a joke and our salaries barely increase. Seems like management doesn't care about the people
