Pros

IRIS has a great culture surrounding people with unique differences and abilities. There are affinity groups, benefits, giving back days and so much more to support both mental and physical health. Since being here rather than with a certain previous employer I have been treated like a human and not just a staff number.

Cons

The business is ever growing, which is great, but it can sometimes seem overwhelming and exhausting, It is easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle so its up to you to remember the work life balance that is on offer as the teams can be larger than in some other types of business.

Genuinely great company to work for

Pros

It is unusual and great to work for a company that is always, always growing - both organically and through acquisition. A growing company means there are opportunities for everyone who is hard working and wanting to get on and there are plenty of examples of people getting promoted from within. There is also a real feel of family here at IRIS. People stay a long time and make good friends. The company has a great culture - you need to work hard, but you want to work hard because its a well run machine - always striving to be better. I feel at home at IRIS. Also i forgot to mention i love the new equity scheme and the chance to buy into IRIS.

Cons

The company is so successful that everyone has high expectations of what you can and should be doing. This raises the game of everyone - but would say its hard to coast along at IRIS and if you are after an easy, slow pace life, maybe not the company for you.
