Pros

-Once in a lifetime incentives -Great culture and people to work with -Market leading software -Overall a great place to learn and develop within the industry - well known organisation that will give you a head start in the SaaS world

Cons

-No communication between Sales and Marketing team -Salary is not competitive -Commission structure is not competitive -Huge drive on recruiting outside hires rather than retaining experienced staff and promoting from within -Business got rid of teleprospecting department meaning data and leads are scarce

We’re committed to being a great place to work and providing rewarding careers for our salespeople as we continue to grow. Rest assured, we haven’t removed our teleprospecting teams – far from it! Now, each team has dedicated teleprospecting resources so that they have greater connectivity and a chance to learn. We have also created a dedicated ‘Pathways’ team specifically to focus on delivering high volume leads and sales. We have recently hired a new Chief Marketing Officer to drive our strategy and bring even more leads and prospects to the sales teams. We’re also committed to the progression and development of our salespeople. Our new hires now receive 2 weeks of classroom training and 6 weeks practical skills development and coaching in Base Camp to get them up to speed and earning their commission quickly. As individuals progress, we increase their sales targets at the same time as the ability to earn additional commission grows, with the opportunity to work on bigger, more complex and more valuable deals. We offer a defined pay progression scheme to support rapid salary development within your first few years at IRIS. We're committed to being a Great Place to Work and we emphasise the importance of great managers as a key part of this. We use a regular employee feedback tool so that employees can share feedback and suggestions with their manager, HR and our leadership teams. In some bonus plans, we expect managers to achieve a baseline employee engagement score in order to receive a payout so that poor management is not rewarded. The vast majority of managers score much higher than this threshold, and those not performing receive dedicated coaching, training and support to genuinely improve the engagement of their teams. We wholeheartedly encourage you to leave honest and constructive feedback for your manager so that they can understand how they're doing and be the best manager they can be to their team.
