I made some lovely friends there.

Looking back on my time at this company it seems more like a satire of a terrible company than a real company. There was an atmosphere of blame and fear as the senior management knew that they were in trouble and would never hit their own targets and this filtered down to the staff. With a lack of training, education and respect there was a deluge of staff leaving with newbies getting drafted in on a weekly basis. One of the managers came to work and even interviewed people in an adidas tracksuit and others were more interested in the time they spent in the gym rather than on the sales floor.

where to start? thank goodness I am out: - no career prospects - market rate salary non existent - rude people from senior managers all the way to the group ceo - the only strategy is to buy businesses and make the company look good so they can sell - hg capital who own are only concerned about making money and no control of management

There genuinely are none other than salary and holidays. Some staff are lovely but they are temporary most of the time as so many people leave.

Cons

-Promotions only happen when big sellers threaten to leave. -Unprofessional management team who are clicky. -No HR processes used unless getting rid of someone. -No complaints team. Complaints are brushed off and customer left with no answers /help -Manager often says leave you morals at the door -Encourage more to rip people off than provide any kind of service. -No opportunities for promotion past ten leader...and even then you have to be a top seller with no soul threatening to leave to get anything. -I'm not sure management realise they need to pro-actively manage and not just bark and bully. -Poor retention -Poor training ...it goes on SEEING WHAT I HAVE SEEN I WOULD NEVER WORK, RECOMMEND OR BUY ANYTHING IRIS.
