Pros

It used to be an amazing place with a plan, a strategy and people who loved us.

Cons

It let Chris Smith leave us and now we have no direction and today we announced that Elona is going too, the only two people worth staying for have now both left.

We’re delighted to share that Gus Malezis, who has been our chairman for some time now, is stepping into the role of Interim CEO to help us in our next stage journey as we search for a new permanent CEO. We are also pleased to welcome Jack Sebagg, who has taken over the role of Chief Revenue Officer from Chris Smith. Chris had led our UK commercial team through a significant time of growth and Jack is equally committed to ensuring IRIS’ growth and progress. Both Gus and Jack were delighted to present at our January Company Update, where they share their passion and plans to take IRIS and its employees into the next chapter of success. As well as being a Real Living Wage Employer, meaning we commit to pay a fair wage to cover at least the real cost of living in the UK, we run a company-wide annual salary review process each autumn which includes external benchmarking data, to ensure we are paying competitively in the market. We also offer pay scales in select departments to automatically reward employees when they hit career milestones and pay out an annual bonus to all permanent employees. Stay away from offices in the states!!!!!

This review is about the offices in the states. Only Con: Great people in NY, of those who have left and not FLED.

This review is about the offices in the states. Very Shorthanded. Has been since Iris acquired AW. Key people who literally have saved the company from lawsuits and bankruptcies have FLED due to absolute horrible management in development. HR is NON-EXISTENT: Can't get emails or questions answered, especially important benefit (401k, etc) related questions. They just DO NOT respond. Even people who have left the company have not heard one peep out of HR regarding exit interviews, rolling over 401K, COBRA benefits. Accolades continue to flow to people who don't deserve it; people who left the company and came back, while people who actually contribute (or have contributed) to the success of the company get ignored. Development Management and project management is horrible. Worst I have ever seen in my years of software development. Culture in states is horrible.
