Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re delighted that you recognise our fantastic Executive team, who care deeply about IRIS’ success and know that employees are at the heart of everything we do. We’re proud to run regular Global Company Updates, where the Executive team provide exciting news from key functions and we encourage employees to ask questions in a dedicated Q&A session at the end of each update. This also allows us to effectively communicate our strategy across the business. We’re proud to champion and encourage #Innovation and we are always looking for great ideas proposed by our employees. Our engagement platform, Peakon, enables all staff to provide monthly feedback and interact anonymously with managers and senior leaders to make IRIS the best it can be. We’re also proud to run our Made in IRIS CEO Award, endorsed by our very own CEO, Elona, which encourages employees to submit a great entrepreneurial idea to our Executive team and have the chance to win up to £50,000 to #MakeItHappen. We’re proud to have numerous offices throughout the UK and overseas. Our closest office to London is our modern Heathrow Approach office, which is near Heathrow Airport, in Slough, which has many fantastic features such as a pool table, automated coffee machines, excellent parking and a café on site. We are committed to helping our employees find the right working pattern and location for them and are proud to offer a range of flexible working policies including remote and hybrid working opportunities. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please speak to your HR representative or leave a comment in our next Peakon survey. Kind regards, the HR team

Pros

The majority of people are genuine and really nice. Makes the job worthwhile and enjoyable. No micromanagement in the team, everyone knows what they are doing and communicate really well.

Cons

The business itself. Salaries are below market value - they will tell you otherwise SLT have no concept on how to deal with mental health issues a lot of staff are dealing with. Praise that people work stupid hours, they are working some teams into the ground. Monthly employment surveys are a joke - managers get penalised if staff do not put positive feedback Budgets and resources are cut, yet its still ok to send Sales and Marketing on a week's trip to Las Vegas. These trips are not open to all areas of the business.

Cons

- no flexibility - senior management have no idea on how to be managers - salary is low but make you believe if you go elsewhere you won’t get better when you will - toxic environment - treat you like children

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, although we are surprised and disappointed by your comments. We’re very proud to have a robust and equitable annual salary review process, empowering departments to assign salary increases fairly and consistently. To do this, we constantly review the market, using benchmarking data, and establish standard rules, which include length of service, last increase date, performance, and supplementary income variables. This year, we were delighted to double the amount of money we were spending on our salary increases versus the previous year, with our budget exceeding £3 million after tax. To further reward our fantastic salespeople, we offer a comprehensive commission scheme that has been rolled out across the function to provide monthly commission payments, which are allocated based on input and promotes the chance to earn 200% of commission when the target is achieved. We are also pleased to run a recognition award for our highest performing salespeople each quarter, with our previous winners being gifted an electric scooter, designer sunglasses, and this time the chance to win a Mini! We’re also excited to announce that our Elite Club will be going on a trip to Kennedy Space Centre in 2023, following their luxury trip to Las Vegas earlier this year. We’re also very proud to support all our salespeople so that they can develop their skills, learn different products, and grow their careers. We run an extensive 4-week induction and training course for our newer sales executives which is delivered by a host of experts across Sales, Marketing and Product. This training covers the end-to-end sales process supported by individual training modules and a tailored product training programme. We also provide dedicated personal performance coaching for our salespeople and work shadowing opportunities, so that they can develop their skills and grow their careers. We also promote an environment to support our employees growth, we have detailed onboarding and coaching plans to support personal development and professional performance through a performance mindset coach. We’ve invested significantly in training and development for our leaders across the organisation to enable them to perform to their highest capabilities and inspire others to do the same. We encourage all managers to attend our Managing with IMPACT course, an in-depth manager training offering, which supports new managers to build their skills and cover the day-to-day practicalities of management – including emotional intelligence, enhancing performance and giving effective feedback. These sessions are focused on unlocking potential and enabling managers and leaders to deliver outstanding results. We are delighted to have included more than 100 managers and leaders in these sessions in the past 12 months alone. We’ve also created our Leading with IMPACT training course for senior leaders in IRIS. We’re proud to have launched this programme this year, with over 30 senior managers being invited. It is a highly experiential, interactive, and thought-provoking programme which consists of three classroom-based modules delivered across four days over 8 to 12 weeks. We’re also proud to promote Peakon, our employee engagement survey, which enables all staff to provide monthly feedback and interact anonymously with managers and senior leaders to make IRIS the best it can be. We are continuing to increase the engagement in our Sales team and are so pleased to have an engagement score of 8.3 for our Sales department, which is above our industry benchmark. We are also consistently scoring high in our drivers for ‘Management Support’ and ‘Organisational Fit’ from the survey results of our Sales team. We also encourage our employees reach out to our Employee Voice Ambassadors, who are given dedicated training on how to interpret and action Peakon feedback, facilitate meetings, and lead with empathy. We are proud to have 10 ambassadors in Sales & Marketing, who listen to the teams’ collective voices to be cascaded up to our senior leaders and executive team, thereby helping implement positive change and further improve engagement. We care deeply about our employee wellbeing and mental health and are extremely proud to have been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing 2022. We signpost and provide a range of physical, mental, and financial wellbeing, such as our incredible Mental Health First Aiders, our Belonging Champions, daily wellbeing nudges, our weekly workplace support group, company-funded access to talking therapies, wellbeing apps, an Employee Assistance Program, and Mindfulness training. We also have a dedicated Wellbeing intranet page where employees can access all of these resources and find specific and tailored support. We’re sorry that this wasn’t your experience, and we encourage you to email EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk with any further comments. Kind regards, the HR team
