Pros

Work at home up to 4 days a week, flexible schedule and start time. Decent paid leave and can take leave whenever I want. Union will back you up

Cons

Hard to relocate to other offices or move to other areas within IRS. Doesn't have flexibility of private business. Targeted by Republican politicians for budget cuts etc
