Pros

Great benefits even for summer internships, as well as interacting with employees. Managers and supervisors were very friendly and helpful.

Cons

For student trainee's there is not much room to grow up the field. When the summer is over, the job was over.

Pros

At the end of the day there is something to be said about being in an organization that is trying to innovate at the government level and add value to the american public.

Cons

Very vertical organizations with little opportunity to diversify skillset beyond current business unit. Aging workforce. Knowledge needs to be pushed down to new and younger staff to ensure the institional knowledge remains when folks retire.

Pros

Time off; some vacation options

Cons

Seasonal job, no real benfits. The training program for tax examiners needs much to be desired. Worked 1 month for training and then had 2 weeks off work due to level of work. Then came back for on the job training.
