      Government jobs are not better than private sectors. Really awful.

      Somewhat good benefits. Not much else.

      Cons

      Low pay. Super high stress. Very minimal training before being thrown to the wolves. Constant micro management. 99% negative reinforcement. No job security. You may get a decent schedule after 10 years if your lucky. There are only two kinds of people working here. Ones who are completely miserable and hate their job (90%), or try hard psychos who actually like their job (10%). All starting positions are seasonal with virtually no chance of becoming a permanent employee.
