Pros

Working at ISBAN Global Services you are able to achieve a satisfying work-life balance (hours of 9-5 are very much achieveable). There is a reasonable amount of support from Human Resources.

Cons

The on-boarding process for new joiners is terrible - waits of up to 10 days for a laptop are the norm. The roles with the ISBAN internal consulting team are badged as 'business consulting'...they are nothing of the kind. The majority of the work involves IT-led projects and are focussed upon management of training/change management/testing activity. Consequently staff who do not have this experience are at a disadvantage. There is a real blame culture here and a distinct lack of trust between the business units and ISBAN (due in part to the complete lack of visibility from management). Informal 'feedback' is often considered and acted upon without referral to staff. There is no clear view of alignment to business strategy, benefits of ISBAN intervention not available, lack of a clear and repeatable methodology.
