I left before the job killed me

Pros

The company frequently ordered food for employees (probably due to long hours). There was always free food available.

Cons

The company is operated by morally depraved individuals who view employees as cogs in a giant machine. Production goals and workloads are tied to overly aggressive revenue targets and are completely divorced from reality. The expectation was that you would work as many hours as it took to reach month-end of quarter-end goals. Leaving ISO Claims Partners (formerly Crowe Paradis Services Corp.) was the best thing I ever did for my health and my sanity. In addition, the company has a culture that is overly political and rewards insiders. Those in the inside circle are rewarded with career advancement opportunities.

Strategic Oversight Shortcomings

Pros

Pretty good benefits. Strong community of highly-motivated, highly-talented individuals. Mosts days I really loved coming to work because of my team.

Cons

This company has struggled recently through some very hard transitions that were probably not planned with the foresight maybe they should have been. And no amount of grit and determination from the staff was able to contain the fallout. The poor transitions led to a shrinking budget which in turn resulted in lost opportunities for may talented professionals who either lost their jobs or sought better opportunities elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We know the company saw a lot of change this year and while change can be difficult, it sometimes is necessary. A large part of that change in 2015 was reorganization of our services department in order to provide an enhanced client experience as well as development opportunities for our employees. We are so excited to see that those changes have been a huge success on both fronts. We are extremely excited about the development opportunities for our staff in 2016 but always want to hear from you. As you know, ISO Claims Partners has consistently encouraged employees to provide feedback on how we can continually make improvements to make our organization the best place to work. We genuinely want to have as much open, honest, and transparent dialogue as possible so we would love to hear from you on what other improvements we can make at the company. As an employee who has left the organization, I wish you had shared your concerns during your exit interview. We still would love to connect to better understand your feedback if possible. Please feel free to reach out to me directly to set up a time to discuss your concerns. Heather Nehiley – hnehiley@iso.com

Pros

It's rewarding to work for a company that has a clear vision of where its going and to be part of a culture of hard-working and talented people that are committed to executing the plan. There were definitely some challenges during the leadership transition but out of that emerged an infectious enthusiasm for taking this company to the next level. The office environment reflects a "work hard, play hard" mentality. It's disappointing to see some of the negative reviews posted by former employees because the leadership team works hard to ensure we feel valued and appreciated through recognition programs, anniversary lunches, and round table discussions. Everyone has an opportunity to contribute and give feedback. I've had the opportunity to grow within the organization and have received support and training from management and HR along the way. Work/life balance has not been an issue on my team--as long as you're getting your work done and performing, if you need to be at a child's event or something comes up, we've always had the flexibility to work around it.

Cons

In some ways growth is challenging because resources are stretched and we can't always get things done as quickly and easily as we'd like.
