Pros

Casual dress and work environment Frequent free lunches Good vending selections Work from home Fridays From the outside appears to be a fun and progressive place to work. Careful, it is all window dressing

Cons

Full of backstabbing and lies. No work life balance. Expected to work weekends and nights. Management style through use of threats, fear, and intimidation. No amount of money is enough to tolerate this hostile work environment. The other reviews that are negative are spot-on and honest. They want you to think the negative reviews were written by disgruntled employees or employees with a sense of entitlement. That is not the case. The negative reviews are written by normal, hard-working college-educated professionals who are tired of being treated like children or minimum wage laborers. People who just want to work hard and do their jobs during normal hours and see their families. Used to be a good place to work under the prior management team but is steadily and quickly going down the tubes. It does not matter what you do, how hard you work, or how many hours you work, your best is never good enough.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. ISO Claims Partners always encourages and welcomes employees to provide feedback on how we can continually strive to make our organization the best place to work. As you know, we have an electronic suggestion box, a physical box for comments, and an open door policy to our senior team to raise any concerns as well. The leadership team recognizes that of our employees have been putting in long hours to ensure our continued success here at ISO Claims Partners and this is truly appreciated. As current employees are aware, we are finishing up our recruiting efforts to fill 15+ openings and train all our newly hired employees. We are all extremely excited to add these additional employees as well as welcoming back former employees who see the progression and positive changes our organization exhibits. Our newly hired staff will bring new talent to our organization as well as improve the work / life balance. It is startling to hear that any employee feels that a particular manager is not living up to our core values. We would like you to know that we do not tolerate that kind of behavior from any employee and we strongly encourage that employees reach out to the Human Resources department with any concern as opposed to anonymous social media. Our HR staff always maintains an open door policy as well as confidentiality. They are trained to help coach employees through difficult situations and conflicts to reach resolutions and I hope you will decide to contact your HR department. Your VP of HR Heather Nehiley and HR Generalist, Amanda Gilbert are more than happy discuss your concerns with you and help. Additionally, as constantly encouraged you can reach out directly to your COO, Carrie Barr or President, Rob Lewis.

Once a great place to work

Pros

Below the VP/Director level, employees are easy to get along with and work with. For the most part, there is a sense of camaraderie and common-goal-ism that pervades the office and daily operations. The casual dress code is nice, and a lot of the time there is a casual attitude to go along with it. The company does a number of events, activities, offers, etc., for employees: monthly lunches, gatherings, and the like. All-company events like the summer outing and especially the holiday party are really fun for everyone. Work-from-home Fridays are a great perk, and the company is very accommodating to personal needs to work from home at other times. People are very driven to succeed - they want to be good at their job and they want the company to succeed. Most people bring high energy to the office daily.

Cons

Significant management changes saw the departure of an engaging, inspiring leader who had worked hard to create a strong sense of community and a group goal of achieving innovative, high-quality results. He was replaced with a group of eloquent speakers with an aspirational message, who at times bit off more than the staff could collectively chew. In an effort to exponentially grow the business, work-life balance got lost. Seriously lost. Employees were expected to work all hours of the day and though encouraged to "think outside the box," the slightest deviation from the company line could - and likely would - land you on management's suspicion radar. The result was a toxic environment where people lost the ability to trust each other. It is difficult to collaborate with colleagues when you don't know if they're going to backstab you or criticize your work to advance themselves. Particularly at the end of the month (as has been stated in other reviews), but in truth as an overall business model, managers and directors care only about meeting short-term productivity goals but not longer-term concerns like meeting customer expectations and retaining good employees that will help sustain long-run productivity. New management took a political stance for operations; promotions were given to manager and customer favorites without any eye toward people who actually work the hardest and/or the most. Operations manager seemed uninterested in developing resources/talent and focused instead on criticizing employees, cultivating mistrust, and pitting people against one another. As the business grew, the business model was constantly in flux but nobody seemed to have any information about long-term goals; it felt like sailing on a rudderless ship. When change did occur, communication often felt like an afterthought, and operational changes were instituted without input or feedback from individuals who would actually USE the processes being changed. Employee turnover - voluntary and involuntary - became a problem, both for production and for morale, as there was sometimes no communication about someone's departure... and nobody to take over the missing person's work load. Additional work load and productivity expectations did not come with any increase in pay. Advancing without an advanced degree is difficult. You have to be a lawyer or a management favorite if you expect to get anywhere.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this thoughtful feedback. ISO Claims Partners has undergone many changes in the last year and we recognize that any major change comes with some bumps along the way. We are excited to see some of the positive effects of those changes coming to fruition today. Everyone here at ISO Claims Partners works so hard and the leadership team is so grateful for everyone’s commitment to the organization’s success. We know that employees have been putting in a lot of hours and consequently, we are now currently recruiting to fill about 15 roles. We also recognize the need for continued focus on quality assurance. In the last month, we added a new team member who is bringing several new ideas to the table to ensure that our products and service are of the highest quality and that our continuous training programs are focused and impactful. ISO Claims Partners always encourages employees to provide feedback on how we can continue to make this the best place to work possible so if you have additional feedback, I welcome you to feel free to reach out to the HR department or any member of the leadership team. Thank you!

Positive place to work

Pros

The people are the best part of ISO Claims Partners. Management is flexible and tolerant of new ideas, especially once you've proven that you are a dedicated and hard worker. The office environment is relaxed. Despite having a staff of attorneys, the vibe isn't stuffy. We do have to work weekends sometimes, but the perks make up for it.

Cons

Lower pay than other businesses, however, the flexibility ISO provides more than makes up for the lower pay.
