IST Management reviews

-This company is filled with the most unprofessional management I have ever worked for. My specific site manager cut our hours to hide the fact that they were showing up late and leaving early. They also would tell us we were not allowed to do specific things such as use the computers for personal use and have our phones out but they would online shop, engage in social networking on the work PC's and use their cell phones at all hours they were at work. Our site supervisor would also constantly gossip about their IST Employees as well as the client! They would express their opinion so strongly that it was to the point the client had to say something to corporate, yet nothing was done...I complained on more than one occasion and everytime they said something would be done and changes would be made; nothing ever was. Aside from the terrible management the compensation is very low and employees constantly miss work without any notice what-so-ever with no repercussions. This is highly frustrating for a employee who comes to work everyday and works hard when they are there with no acknowledgement.

I won't lie, the major con working against IST is the pay and benefits. I came from a company that was the leader of employee benefits, but had lost sight of employee work satisfaction. For me, those benefits ended up feeling like a pay-off for being miserable everyday I worked. Because of that, the loss of pay and benefits was well worth the change in atmosphere. This may not apply to everyone but sometimes, it's better to be broke and happy.
