ITW is a very solid company with a great financial foundation, and as a result offers a very good benefits, including health and retirement savings.

Cons

If you are in sales, the compensation plans always seem to be under review. If they could find a way to pay you less and do more, they would - and will.

- Large and global organization. Each division and segment is so different so you can learn a lot - Excellent benefits! Medical insurance premiums with the wellness discount, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, etc. are all amazing - The ERGs are great ways to get involved and network

Cons

- Have to take on a lot more because ITW is "lean" - Often times lower salaries compared to market - While internal mobility is an initiative at corporate, it can be difficult to move divisions since some divisions don't want you to leave
