      Pros

      Worked for ITW for over 10 years. The benefits were great.

      Cons

      Actually pretty much everything was great about ITW until major changes in management took place. The company I had worked for that cared about it's employee's no longer cared. Very sad that a company no longer values it's employees as one of its greatest assets. I was just one of many long time employees that was forced out.

      Excellent intrinsic company culture, excellence is recognised/rewarded, visibility of management throughout, above industry standard employee benefits package(s) including good basic salary. Age no barrier to promotion, based on ability.

      Cons

      Occasionally not as joined up across departments as it should be.
