Pros
I absolutely loved the people I worked with and the people I met during my time with ITW. There is so much room from growth and development within this single company due to their size and global presence.
Cons
ITW is a very big, decentralized company so business culture and personal experiences can vary dramatically. This is improving, but is still ubiquitous. Benefits are on the conservative end of the spectrum, which can be challenging for those who wish to grow-from-within since all promotions or position moves use existing salary to determine new salary, regardless of the level of the move or the experience of the individual.
