Good depending on management
Pros
I worked in a few Icelands and although the same duties were carried out in the same shop the management had a huge impact on the people working. - If the management were friendly and positive, it was a pleasant place to work. - pay was good for what we had to do.
Cons
- very repetitive - some management had been there for years and were stuck in their old ways. Did not like change very well. - Management were grumpy. - Head Office do not help you if you have problems - there is a huge hierarchy when it comes to staff, the 'higher' up staff delegate and place blame on people at the bottom to save their own skin. - hard to have a laugh with colleagues as your not allowed to talk cause apparently it looks bad. - There are no benefits which is why the pay is good. - The company does a Christmas fund, where you can put some of your own money away for Christmas... you expect it back but do not get it! - All in all, i would never work for this company again, unless they seriously changed their ways.
