Pros
-Seasonal job during graduation season therefore extremely flexible with scheduling. -The job could be as easy and monotonous as you wanted to be, but when I ask my Supervisor and my Department head for something a bit more challenging I was met with open arms! (May only apply to Data Entry) I really enjoyed my work in verification and understanding how to critique programs from the user perspective. -On non-federal holidays they'll provide food for the entire office if you choose to work then. -You are welcome to work as many hours as you want/need to. -Seasonal employees will tend to get a bonus at the end if they show up on time with a good attitude. -My department was small so I got to interact with my co-workers, definitely a perk of Data Entry!
Cons
-Often times the entry is done overseas which tends to lead to more errors in the data, I've always wondered how this impacts overall sales and potential clients; but it can be very tedious to have to correct an entire ceremony of inputted data. (Some of the mistakes can be pretty funny to share with everyone though.) -No real complaint at the Tallahassee office though, great place for a temporary job!
