Pros

With a smaller amount of employees, you can learn a lot quickly. There's room for growth based on how long you've worked there or position.

Cons

Due to the leadership, I've never felt so miserable in my career and position. Overworked. Under appreciated. Feel very insecure about myself and progress as a person and in the career. Never feel like I'm truly appreciated. Roller coaster of feelings - one day may seem fine and the next I'm back to completely disliking everything about it.

Toxic Company, Toxic Leadership

Pros

My tenure was short (and so if everyone else's) but the coworkers are the only good part about this company, the bad thing is that the retention is so poor you make friends and lose them monthly.

Cons

Where to start: Leadership: Starting from the top the leadership is a NIGHTMARE. If it isn't clear by the numerous real Glassdoor reviews and the handful of obviously fake ones, this is a company that refuses to learn from their countless mistakes. Toxic, rude, vindictive, unkind, uncaring, manic and unintelligent is how I would describe the so called leader of this business. For a "Woman Lead" business they sure know how to not empower them. Compensation: WOW comedic compensation, without a doubt the lowest I have experienced, they make a failing company their employees problem by overworking and underpaying them. I can't stress enough, you will be broke working here in no time Benefits: "Check out our sweet snacks!" lol Location: All the money spent on the decorations and location are apparent, which is cool, but at the cost of not paying anyone? Not okay. The cool location doesn't cover the looming depressive episodes caused by working at this company, lots of area to cry in is an added bonus!! But wait, there is more! Come on down to our wonderful LA and Chicago locations located in a shoebox so we can slap "As a top tier mid-sized agency with locations in the Midwest and West Coast" on our poorly designed website! Drama: Need a drama fix? This company is for you! From C-suite scandals to trash talking clients (they seem to pick the meanest clients too and they know it) you won't be short of any drama. It's not hard to be the 'fastest growing company' YoY when you lose business left and right. They grow, add people and then lose all the clients because they're not good at their jobs, lose the clients, fire people (or make it so toxic they quite) rinse and repeat. Also that was 2019, move on. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and literally pick anywhere else, flip burgers at McDonalds, pick up trash on the side of the road, go on government welfare, literally anything is better than the torment that is Ideas That Evoke or The Evoke Agency or The Tease or whatever you want to rebrand yourselves as next month
