Pros

None. Really can’t find the pros.

Cons

Their business model is to acquire another company and lay off the employees. They laid off > 50 people within few weeks after acquisition . Very good job !

Dumpster fire of a company

Pros

- They are completely unresponsive to any emails or questions, so at least you rarely ever have to go through the pain of talking to any of them. - If you are looking for a place where you can make the world a worse place, you've found it. - They move extremely slowly, so you'll have an easy time looking for a new job once they acquire your company.

Cons

- They do not care to listen to anyone about anything, even it's an answer to a question they specifically asked you .

Pros

They give Good Friday off.

Cons

Idera has a toxic culture that seems to train people not to think. Their leadership is terrible at communicating and doesn't seem fit to manage a sandwich. Their development process involves using an antiquated waterfall lifecycle so that they can outsource their principal development work elsewhere. It's ridiculous, painful, and is probably calculated to produce low quality software but their upper management manages to keep a very straight face about it somehow. They are the epitome of the Dunning-Kruger effect and the combination of their incompetence and smug superiority is infuriating. All of their interactions, processes, and policies seem to follow a poorly proofread script that is unlikely to serve them in any given situation they find themselves in, yet they insist on trying to shoehorn it in. Their dedication to foolishly consistent processes is frankly disgusting - they just stubbornly refuse to think about anything they do. I suspect that working here for an extended period of time will make you brainless - I have yet to see anyone from their corporate office do anything with the basic competence that I expect from an adult human. I don't think it has to do with the essential character of (many of) the people involved, I just think that their culture is that depraved. Their garbage culture would surely make me a garbage person too, in time. If you believe that Idera is going to purchase your company, start looking for a new job immediately. Do not hesitate. Aside from being an awful company to work for, their business model seems to be very acquire-and-fire based.
