I interned at Illumio twice before being brought on full time this past summer. I like the people I work with a lot, I have felt supported in growing as a developer.

Cons

What I learned in school tended to be higher on the stack than what Illumio uses.

Worst CMO ever. How was he even considered for the role?

Pros

- Friendly engineering staff - Used to have free food in the office

Cons

- New product in 2020 feels half baked - Little investment in employees in terms of professional training - Some functional leaders (directors and VP) aren't actually experienced in their functions to lead, so they either actively sabotage other teams to shed responsibilities or make poor decisions. - Stressful/hostile environment at times. A few execs make swearing in every sentence a norm, which implicitly gave permission to some employees to act the same way.
