Pros

Surgical team works as a team

Cons

The owner/Surgeon is not well-behaved. The manager has no experience in managing employees. This company is a revolving door. This company cannot keep an employee longer than 8 months.

Pros

A handful of genuinely kind coworkers who try to keep the place afloat despite constant chaos. You’ll learn resilience, that’s for sure.

Cons

The tone of the entire practice reflects the temperament of its top leader—volatile, reactive, and unwilling to hear differing opinions. Decisions often shift suddenly, creating confusion for both staff and patients. Concerns brought up by team members are routinely dismissed or met with defensiveness. Upper leadership is either complacent, or blindly champions this mentality, thus supporting it thoroughly. Financial mismanagement trickles down to operational chaos: unpaid vendors, product shortages, and constant scrambling to “make it work.” The culture discourages independent thought and rewards compliance over competence. It’s a place that values control more than collaboration and image more than integrity. It’s an exhausting place to work if you care about patient experience, ethics, or growth.
