Pros

Imagine is very supportive of their employees. The communication between employees and managers is wonderful. There are opportunities for advancement. Depending on which department you work in, the job can present challenges, but there's a great sense of team-work that helps immensely.

Cons

The compensation isn't always wonderful - understandable for a non-profit. Sometimes it can be difficult to find life-work balance, as the work can be exhausting.

Pros

Good co-workers and great non profit helping people with disabilities.

Cons

No way to move up in the organization. Lots of paperwork, boring work at times. Worked there for 5 years and only got a 10 cent raise once. Hard place to work in the last year, 2013.

Imagine! has some of the best associates around who truly care for the individuals we serve. Imagine! understands and recognizes the need to grow from within and will try all it can to hire from within first whenever possible.

Pros

Help those with disabilities fulfill their lives, satisfying job overall. Lots of community involvement Good benefits, even for gym and bus pass Would get a higher rating but (see cons)

Cons

Low pay for the amount of work you put in, high turnover rate. Not many opportunities to move up in the company especially when you start as a residential counselor. More support for morale in the "in the trenches" positions Hours range from place to place within the company, typically the office positions have the best hours and work environment.

Imagine! has a succession plan for anyone that is interested in moving up in the company or learning new opportunities. Imagine! will promote from within whenever possible.
