People care for one another and they talk openly. Great location and the communities are very nicely done.

Immanuel 'walks its talk'

This organization is committed to not only the people they serve, seniors, but also their employees. This is the first company I have worked for where any employee could describe our mission statement to you and give an example as to how it was lived out that day--it isn't just a plaque on a wall. Regardless of your field of expertise, there is probably a career available to you within this company. They are changing the face of senior care and engage their employees in how to do this. Career development opportunities are available and professional growth is encouraged as well with a generous tuition reimbursement amount. while everyone wishes they could be paid more, our pay is competitive in our market and our benefits are great. Love working for this company!

Cons

If you like coming to work and every day is the same, this isn't the company for you. We work with people and all of their uniqueness, making each day just a little bit different with brand new opportunities!

Pros

The staff is very friendly. Hours are flexible. Very good for a first job. Reasonable pay and a solid Christmas bonus. Good benefits (although I worked part-time so I didn't get many).

Cons

The work is a bit monotonous. Can't take any tips from the residents. Some of the residents are mean. Have to work on weekends.

It is our policy that all employees are unable to accept gifts/cash from the people we serve. However, we have several full-time position openings that would provide excellent benefits and additional pay!
