A Great Experience

Pros

There is a great work-life balance; the unlimited vacation time makes it effortless to plan for trips or take sick days. Additionally, the team is cross-trained, so you develop a lot of in vitro and in vivo skills.

Cons

While the pay is good, it does not seem to be competitive with the current market.

Pros

This is a great place to gain first time experience in the biotech field for those straight out of college. The pay is above most other places with full time benefits. Management has improved to make sure people are not being overworked.

Cons

The work environment on the manufacturing floor has become extremely unprofessional/ toxic and makes focusing on work difficult. Upper management needs to start taking complaints seriously with continuous corrections to behavior. It is exhausting and is a huge force as to why so many senior operators leave. You are promised a pay bump and a title change at your one year, but operators are not receiving them. There is little advancement within the company and there is a lot of favoritism that occurs. There is a lot of workplace mobbing that occurs and it drives out the better employees. My best advice is to get your experience and leave the company once you are done.
