Pros

Initially it’s a good experience with some happy people and good company socially but they wear you down with politics and no prospects. Nepotism and relatives galore, sales people not even working the trade show floor, lazy attitude. You need to suck up big and Keep stumm to get on here

Cons

More cons than pros and that’s why people are leaving, no promotions and people who work hard are overlooked. There’s quite a few hangers on and people are unhappy but some leave and others collect the check. One VP stayed less than a week, latest one is leaving after just over a year, if you speak truth, you’ll be crucified or bullied. No management support, they don’t care one iota and they read your internal messaging and your Glassdoor submissions, be warned, big brother is watching you

Pros

Large customer base, solid products, a lot of smart people, good reputation among customers

Cons

Imprivata's complete dominance in the healthcare "Tap-in/Tap-out" and SSO space has been very good for the company's growth over the last 10+ years. However, the market is largely saturated. Imprivata has introduced new products to sell to existing customers, but the majority of those products have been flops and none have proven to be anywhere near the revenue generator of the flagship product. Imprivata will be able to sustain itself for a long time on their recurring maintenance & support revenue, but they are going to struggle to meet growth expectations if they don't introduce innovative products that fill a recognized need. There have been a lot of employee departures recently, largely driven by the fact that the "excitement" of growth and the potential for a "payout" have largely died.
