      Pays well but takes forever to move up

      Pros

      The best reasons why i liked to work for In N Out was the flexible schedules, the good pay, and the people that I worked with. I had worked at In-N-Out for 6 years and it had both its upsides and downsides but overall it was a good first job and i learned a lot from it. Plus it got me out of a few tickets by telling cops i just got off work at In-N-Out and i got away from my ticket more than once.

      Cons

      Some of the downsides was that you had to work till very late (up to 2am) and that it takes a while to move up through the company. The average time you have to put in to get certified on grill takes 3.5 years!!!

      Pros

      Good pay, you work with your friends, easy fun work, they definatly take care of you and they give you good time off.

      Cons

      Managment is often inexperianced and constantly being trained... so yeah that often leads alot to be desired from them... but they try, they are all just regular employees who are promoted from within so they all know how it is for you. Sometimes they just don't remeber that far back. A huge amount of time the place feels like an extension of high school. Drama is fairly rampant and so is drug use. Overall comradere is a little bit like being brainwashed but its enough to put up with. Meetings are little more than pep rallies and its basicly like getting paid for going to highschool, without homework.

      Pros

      Work ethic. That is what i learned working at INO some 10 years ago. Working here has seriously helped me in my main career (IT Management).

      Cons

      Eat too many burgers and fries :) Having to work new years eves sucked but i cant really think of anything i didnt enjoy doing there.
