Pros
The department that I was in, management was good about work life balance. Exposure to many things so you could learn a lot about different aspects of the business. The benefits included a good 401k, good salary, and gym downtown.
Cons
This company is huge but because it is privately owned, many things are still handled in a "small business" kind of way. And that doesn't work for an organization as big as this one. Politics are in every company, but sometimes it resulted the wrong people being placed in management positions. When you are hired on, there is little basic training about their platforms and systems. Too many re-orgs. If you are there long enough, there is a lot of opportunity to advance. The majority of the people and most mid-level managers are good.
