Pros

Remote work was promoted here.

Cons

Micromanagement and no promotions because of favoritism. Lied about our department not being effected by the layoff. A third of the department was laid off and senior people were let go.

Pros

- Fully Remote for my role - Unlimited PTO - Relaxed attendance policy - allowed to step out for random things like lunch, kids' events, parties, car appts, life, etc. - Great benefits for health, RX, dental, etc - Nice offices for if you are required or choose to commute in. speaking of which... - Some teams like Sales and CS are hybrid, while basically the entire rest of the company is remote. Not a great look or idea in my opinion.

Cons

- Lack of company direction - Slow promotion process. Typically 2-3 years for promo, even if you're a "top performer" - Growing pains in the wake of the AWS migration - Company outlook feels bleak internally, it feels like a gloomy cloud has been hanging over ever since the layoffs in early 2023
