Pros

Unlimited PTOs Data-driven culture Ability to drive initiatives and iterations

Cons

- Politics is seeping into the engineering culture. Your fate and growth depend on your manager and how much they know how to play it. If you don't have an idea how things work here(being an engineer), you will be manipulated until you know what the right expectations are. - You won't be rewarded what you deserve in a direct manner. Instead, the management will torture you to yield your fullest so that you think that you really achieved it and the bar is high which in reality was not. - Engineering bar is getting lower.

Pros

Beautiful offices, good food, excellent health insurance.

Cons

Salaries below market, they ask that people have a master degree and years of experience for a salary in the low 60's ( and that is including bonus) , I wish Indeed spent less on happy hours and a plethora of activities catered to provide fun to the twenty-something and start paying fairly. Leadership is provided by people that might have vast knowledge about the company but whose only job has been at Indeed and with poor management skills, tolerance for laziness is ok because preferences towards friends are not unusual, this promotes a culture of self entitlement that makes work harder than it should be. Open PTO sounds like a great perk at the beginning but then one realizes that some people overuse it whereas some people use little time off, and for the latest, there is no pay for unused time when leaving.

Thanks so much for leaving us a review about your time working for us at Indeed. It’s really important for us that we provide great workspaces and perks for our employees in our offices, and we try to cater to all needs where possible. We are aware that we need to focus even more on manager training and continually strive for a diverse balance of talent within our organization, and appreciate this feedback. In regards to rewarding our employees, we research compensation in each market where we compete for talent, and have a dedicated benefits team that are continually adjusting levels based on data and feedback. When it comes to the feedback around not being paid for leave not taken from your standard holiday allowance, this is incorrect. If you leave the business with holiday leave remaining, you will be compensated for this. The Open PTO is a benefit on top of this so would not fall under the same conditions. Once again thanks for taking the time to suggest improvements - we are listening.

Pros

+ Free breakfast and lunch on Wednesdays + Happy hour on Friday + Good base salary +ability to make a lot of money in sales + great work mates +Pool table, Xbox, free snacks + The best office location in town + Good work / life balance + The perks and benefits

Cons

-90% of managers have 0 management experience and have been promoted because they are here for ages, people management is terrible - The "unlimited PTO" that does not exist - Targets for supposed to be fair but massive discrepancy and unable to understand why your target gets crazy one quarter - The larger Indeed has gotten, the less transparent the management has become

Hi, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review about working at Indeed in Dublin. As a current employee of ours we always welcome feedback on how we need to improve as a business. It’s disturbing for us to read that you believe our managers are displaying bullying behaviour as this is something we will not tolerate. Please do reach out to me or a member of my HR team so we can discuss this further with you. Elaine McAuley, Director of HR for EMEA.
