Pros

Indeed has fantastic folks working in middle management and down. Pay seems to be competitive and benefits are pretty good.

Cons

Managers are not empowered to make decisions for their teams and have little power to influence decisions that impact them. Many of the decisions, especially those associated with the last few rounds of layoffs felt arbitrary and lacked sound reasoning. The senior leadership team is very disconnected from most employees, and even many members of the senior leadership team seem to wait on the CEO to approve any decision. The stated values at Indeed are very different from the actual business and employee practices.

Culture is suffering due to 2 rounds of lay-offs Performance scale is not consistent Hourly employees should get paid at a higher rate for the workload and constant changes they have to face within the company and with products

Pros

I believe Indeed tries to be a very transparent organization that values its employees. It offers fair compensation and amazing benefits, such as a six month parental leave policy. I value the senior leadership in the organization and vision for where the organization is headed.

Cons

Navigating through multiple home-grown systems that were integrated into Salesforce is not the easiest way to gather information.
