Supplemental Instructor (PLTL)

Pros

Overall working for the university as any sort of part-time instructor is a layback experience. The PLTL experience is better because of the higher pay and you do not have to grade. You also have complete control over your own lectures. It is certainly much better than being an undergraduate instructor

Cons

The instructor of your course can change from semester to semester which means that you have to radically restructure your lesson plans. Often times students come in looking for help with homework which is not allowed.
