      Great in theory. Stay away from the medical side of the campus if you are staff.

      Pros

      Great pay and benefits. Good culture. There are a lot of perks and pride that come from working with the university.

      Cons

      Faculty are royalty and it is truly displayed as such on the medical side of the Indianapolis campus where the staff can be blatantly treated as second class citizens by those with PhDs.

      Pros

      IUPUI is a great place to work. The fringe benefit is good. You have the opportunity to go back to school, change your hours, work with great people, and it's family friendly.

      Cons

      No opportunity for growth within a department unless you transfer to another department or apply for a position that is higher classification than what you currently has.
