Pros
This has been by far the most rewarding professional experience I have had. A few things that stand out to me about Indigo:
1. We work on really hard problems, and people are driven to find solutions.
2. Team members are incredibly supportive and ready to jump in to help on new projects. I have seen few work environments with such a collaborative culture.
3. People work to get things done. There are few managers who are not also doers - having a lot of capable people is valuable in completing the massive body of work that we're tasked with.
4. The level of ownership I've had is unparalleled in other work environments I've been in. People expect - and allow for - a level of responsibility that exceeds any of my past experiences.
5. This is truly a mission-driven company. We are trying to do what's best for consumers, growers, and the environment, and such a strong focus on these stakeholders is incredibly unique for a large, growing organization.
Cons
People work extremely hard - it's definitely not a 9-5 job!
