Thank you for your feedback. We are extremely clear during the interview process, as well as, during the training period about the expectations of being a trainer at IPT. After 12 years of being in business and getting results for 1000s of clients with a 5-star rating, our clients expect a certain level of training, professionalism, and customer service. As a result, we have all new trainers, regardless of their previous training experience, go through our Training Course, which yes, does include foundational principles from NASM. Although its not the sole focus of program, NASM is the highest ranked certification accredited through NCCA, which is the industry gold standard for Personal Training Certifications. The course also includes many other training principles not commonly taught through NASM for exercise selection, progressions/regressions, core training, etc. If a trainer picks up the material quickly, like most experienced trainers, they typically move on within 2-3 weeks in the course. If not, they continue to work with a manager to understand everything. We understand this may not be for everyone which is why we rarely have trainers quit but our method ensures our trainers are equipped to get our clients results while upholding our standards, which is always our main goal. Lastly, half our staff have been with the company 4 to 8 yrs while the other half 2+ in an industry with a 80%+ turnover rate in year 1.
