Pros

Flexible hours. There are still some talents remain, but not for long.

Cons

There are too many problems and it is getting worse everyday. 1) New CEO and executives did nothing good for the company. Instead, they focus on cost cutting and layoff to make it looking good for selling for quick money in their pocket. 2) After acquired by Vista, there is only base salary and non-guaranteed performance bonus for most employees. There are retention bonus for some employees, but only apply to "important" people in the ring. To retain employees, management are trying to sell the idea of making it fun and interesting place to work, great culture and provide opportunity to grow etc. They never tell the truth about how much money each of them would get as part of the retention bonus. 3) Can't trust the management starting from the top. Some management that are hired in the last few years are less talented. They don't know how to manage experienced people. They are good at pleasing their boss. They simply don't want others to be more visible than them. They tend to praise people in their circle and try to isolate others. As a result, some talented employees couldn't take it any longer and quit. 4) More layoff is coming. 5) Talented employees are leaving for better opportunity. There is no chance to compete with multiple good offers. 6) No matter how hard you work, your boss will get all the credits and be promoted first. Your boss may be promoted twice before your turn. This is the reality at Infoblox and this is a joking topic among the employees. Wondering if upper management knows or they simply don't care.

Pros

Many of the engineering core team who brought this company to where it is is still around but the engineering leadership left so hopefully people don't start jumping ship. Some opportunity to get into new SaaS tech but still a long way to go.. Customer satisfaction is high apparently

Cons

People feel that management screwed up compensation this year. Mediocre bonus this year and vague new bonus policy. Managment procrastinated on stock grants all summer apparently to sell the company to Vista at discount. Managment seem to care less about people leaving and probably want that in order to hire offshore in India or nearshore. Can't keep the new talent onboard, and can't offer competitive packages to keep them. Too much churn in SaaS team due to fluctuating strategy, lack of leadership.

Pros

Smart people with great ideas- Supportive training and enablement to help each employee product. Great Balance of life/work.

Cons

Acts like a startup after 17 years- missing some basic infrastructure tools to be 100% effective. lots of lip service to fixing core issues but ...
