Pros

- Some really smart, conscientious co-workers (emphasis on some) - Good career-building experience - Pre-buyout, terrific internal training and investment in employees

Cons

- Zero career advancement opportunities - Total breakdown in communication at every level, every day - Morale-breaking organizational decisions - Lackluster executive team in love with the sound of their own voices - No equity and long dry spell with no bonuses listening to sales get offered incentive after incentive - Stuck on a private equity LBO hamster wheel that seems to only be speeding up over time - Cavalcade of VPs being hired, but no new resources to do the work they generate - Competing priorities that constantly shif - Compete lack of creativity and initiative - Culture seems purposely divisive, siloed, and hierarchical - Pays lip-service to being customer-first - Unlimited PTO a farce if you have to work when you take it - Company so lean that there's no redundancy or back-up - "Quality" is a foreign concept - Collaboration loses out to competition and complacency - Lack of clarity of roles and responsibilities, despite constantly talking about it

Enjoying My Time with Informatica

Pros

Great people and benefits. Between FTO and working remotely, I am afforded a busy but comfortable work/life balance. I find myself always learning new technologies and products as the company pivots. I am enjoying my time with Informatica and would not hesitate to recommend to a friend.

Cons

Sometimes internal communication can be slow and some recent changes left employees with many questions while news was pending. Professional Services seems oddly siloed in many different ways (geographically, product, industry, etc). This doesn't directly effect me, but it seems like something that could be improved.

Pros

Informatica is a place full of energy. People are really helpful and management is strong and helpful. Company is undergoing a transformation but it is for good and the management is doing all it can to help the company and employee see through this transformation journey.

Cons

Employee training into new technology and existing ones needs to be more structured and strengthened.
