      If you are fresher then don't give a second thought.Yes, Informatica is one of the great places to start once career.

      Pros

      Good Team Culture: I'm a part of the connectivity team, Bangalore. My team mates are very friendly and cooperative. Whenever I get stuck with a problem, they are always within reach and they help me in resolving the problem. Cutting edge Technology: Here we are given a lot of opportunities to work on cutting edge technologies in Data Integration. Life at Informatica: What I like about Informatica is that we have flexible working hours, facilities like a gym,foss ball and TT tables, free lunch and dinner etc.. lot more stuff to tell. However, what I love the most is that working at Informatica is a continuous learning experience till now, which does make work seem more fulfilling.

      Cons

      Obviously every company will have downsides. Till now (Its been a year, on board !!) I didn't feel that some thing is very bad at this place. May be I need some more time to figure it out.

      Worst Support Center Bangalore

      Pros

      Good Benefits, Shift allowance, weekend support allowance, good culture, outings, kick-offs, parties, good infrastructure, laptops, transport, free food, appraisals are descent

      Cons

      1. Recruit more tamilians 2. Preference to tamilians 3. Career growth to tamilians 4. Lots of politics 5. Too much work and scare employees if they don't work about firing 6. Compete between support centers and make employee to work more 7. Frequent changes in process 8. Less paid compared to QA and R&D 9
