As a long-time Bay Area resident, I cannot deny it costs a lot to live here. But I tend to look at it as a value proposition. In return we get some of the best weather on the planet, outstanding scenery, world-class dining and entertainment, an exceptional array of outdoor activities, and a diverse mix of cultures and lifestyles that are the hallmark of a world-class community. I've lived elsewhere and cannot think of leaving. Hope you grow to appreciate all we have at our doorstep... even if it is somewhat dear.
