- You will be asked to work overtime and WILL NOT be paid for it. Overtime is expected, but managers will refuse to approve it and then blame you for not completing tasks within a 40-hour workweek. Work more than 40 hours, but do not report it is the unspoken rule of this company.
- There is no transparency between upper management and employees. Obscure and ambiguous words are used to communicate company policies, changes, etc.
- YOU WILL NEVER BE PROMOTED if you are not based out of India. In over 2 years of working at the company, no one I know based out of the U.S. has been promoted. I've pursued management numerous times about promotion and have been told by management & HR, that THERE IS NOT a "company process" in place to promote employees.
- You'll mostly be working with proprietary or open-source software, which likely won't be helpful in the next place of employment.
- Employee performance reviews are conducted by managers they've never met.
- Company is facing and has faced, numerous allegations of discrimination of national origin in the U.S. and other places. Quick Google searches will show many other employees speaking out about how if you are not based out of India, you will not be promoted and you will be taken advantage of.
- Company has a recent history of being given advance tax breaks by the U.S. government in exchange for hiring American workers. Instead, the company brought over thousands of people from India to do the same job promised to American workers. As such, the company has gone on an American hiring spree due to legal lawsuits by the U.S. government. That said, Americans will be hired to avoid the lawsuit, but will never be promoted. YOU WILL be treated as just a number, a person to fill a seat.
