      Disorganized, but decent work-life balance

      Pros

      Decent work-life balance. Typically you dont work nights or weekends. Almost never have to travel or come into the office.

      Cons

      Dependance on the larger India office is awful. Because they are cheap, need their approval for everything. As a result, goal-setting, promotions, bonuses, yearly reviews are poorly organized and bottle-necked; timelines dont mean anything.

      Ok to work for not great for long time career.

      Pros

      Great for folks who needs temporary job or between jobs.

      Cons

      I am in SAP Practice and you will not find good leaders in this practice. In past there were some good leaders but now you will only see leaders who are trying to save their own jobs and created network of yes boss team.

      Never even look at them

      Pros

      If you are mediocre and would like to settle down - here is the company ! Infosys breeds mediocrity !. If you are a low performer, you are welcome here. You will get promoted every three times a client kicks you out of the project.

      Cons

      Pathetic benefits, particularly who are "deputed" from India. Low salaries, compared to market, and hardly any benefits. Retirement benefits do not exist. Nepotism to the core. All of the management is driven from India where people think , everyone in the US is on a bed of roses living a luxury life.
