Pros

Good Space at work station. Nice Campus. Eco Oriented. Every thing runs on Policy kept by management. Intranet is excellent Accounting Group which takes care of your salary is very excellent

Cons

Boss is always right Formula Middle Level Management is Worst No work life balance. 9.15 hour work daily sucks. If you work more than this no one bothers of you....but if you work for 9 hours also leave will be debited No Hikes No Promotions. Your Hike and Promotion is given by your manager feedback not based on your work No Proper reporting line....there will be 3-4 bosses for u at the same time and every one wants his wor to be done, they will not bother about you or the work from other channels. No Onsite Chances. You will not get anything even if you fight No transfers

Pros

Its a good learning curve for new college graduates. I think the environment is so accepting of people who would normally never be given an opportunity to work in IT a chance ( I am only referring to the US hiring program, and I know the Indian hiring process is a lot more demanding) . Now, to say thats a great thing for the client to have a lot of inexperience onsite people.. meh, whatever, it gave me a good job to learn a lot of job skills for the first 2 years. However, if you planning to focus on something that will interest you in that area.. time to move on.

Cons

I felt really isolated in the company; that was my biggest complaint. I think the big reason was the nature of my project and being an american hire. So, instead of feeling part of something bigger, my world was my cube and I didn't even see other infosys people most of the time! Maybe once in awhile when my manger tells me to take irrelevant certifications, turn in my time sheet and join a weekly team call to hear other infosys talk about thier work that was completely not related to mine.

Pros

Best Infrastructure you will ever find in an IT company in India.Good 'parks', lawns, food-courts,Gym,Swimming Pool,Dorm-nice cubicles-very friendly atmosphere inside the company-feels like a College Campus.Work Pressure depends on Project-though usually it is less.Few Good Managers who still follow Good Old Infosys values.

Cons

Most People are very average in intellectual ability. Most importantly, this company has zero respect for good technical brains-who are left at the mercy of their managers.Promotions are mainly based on years of experience. Some of the wierdest policies you will ever come accross are implemented by HR .Good brains usually leave this company in 1-2 years, after they see such non-sense going around at work .
