Pros

good client base....if utilised properly, you'll get very good exposure to learning the client business... good Onsite opportunities..

Cons

1. Does almost anything offered. No core competencies. 2. Resources are not trained well enough and very soon becomes Jack of all trade, but Master of none. 3. Most of the projects are production support and application maintainence because of severe lack of business knowledge. 4. Managers are known only to manage 10-12 people, talking to them during appraisal, moving them from one project to another, writing SOWs and managing project invoicing - even you beat them to fits, still most of them know very less of the latest technologies/happennings and business knowledge. 5. Treats employees at Onsite as low-cost labors...pays as much as to make them feel like a beggar.

Pros

-Good infrastructure and campus -Good brand value -Good exposure to various technologies -Good training for freshers -Good exposure to working of a corporate business organisation for freshers -Good foundation to build up on your technical skills that you'll need to move onto a better company once you gain a little experience

Cons

-Managers couldnt be any less bothered about the wishes of their employees -Too many people involved in project management without adding any value to the output of the team. Anybody above the role of an engineer does purely management work for which the output is neither measureable nor percievable. The end result? All the productive effort is put in by the engineers working their behinds off to get the deliverables right on time. This effort is barely ever recognized, unless you decide to quit the organisation. -People who can constantly threaten to quit the company can get a lot of benefits as the managers are held responsible for attrition.
