Pros

Good opportunities to learn if you are willing to roll your sleeves up and do practically everything. You can look forward to development if you have a strong line manager because there are few company-wide programs. Interesting exposure if you are looking to get into the IT industry but have limited IT background.

Cons

Minimal link between performance and rewards. Too focused on short-term bottom line. Zero work-life balance. Poor retention of talent.

The environment is enjoyable. Majority of employees are hard working and there are growth benefits including knowledge and position. Work/life balance is pleasant. Time off policy is adequate.

Cons

Lack of communication at the management level. Compensation could be based better on contribution and experience rather than what corporate determines.

Extensive vendor training, diverse vendor support opportunities, coworkers have respect for each other, ability to be recongized amongst the sea of employees, good healtcare coverage, 401k, work life balance.

Cons

There can be a lot of micromanagement if you are not properly fit for your position, specific positions are metric driven for compensation so understand what you are applying for.
