Work stats: Numbers, numbers, numbers. This is all that matters here, not quality, but quantity. I would often forego quality to get more units out, as these are the only metrics they care about. You would think this number would be adjusted once every few months to get the average, but we would all be held to the fastest person's numbers, that had been there for years. Different roles: Although this is a pro I have listed, this is also a con. Even if you have applied, and been hired as X title, you are expected to help nearly everywhere in the building where production is under-performing. Instead of management working out their own area and how to improve, you will get loaned out to help catch them up, meanwhile their employees are barely working. Management: Managers that keep their employees accountable, and work to improve their area are great. Very open to constructive criticism, and willing to try other venues for making work easier for everyone. Managers that don't hold their employees accountable, are instead promoted by upper management, even if their area is severely under-performing. For a company that is interested in getting as many units out as fast as possible, this doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Work/life balance: This is a big one, and a huge issue for the time & location I was at. We were forced mandatory overtime. Every. Single. Week. No exceptions. Due to managers not holding their own employees responsible for under-performing, everyone else in the warehouse would be forced to work overtime because of this. Your specific area might be going above and beyond, but if another area in the warehouse is behind (which they never seemed to get caught up at any point I was there) you're gonna be there late every day, or have to come in for a shift on Saturday.

They expect the resources to work for more then 10 hours, any person not working less then that means he doesn't has any work. There is no appreciation or empathy towards the resources. Use and throw attitude. Respect is not found in the DNA. Managers and Directors think they hold lives of resource who work under them. They insult and humiliate in front of others. They layoff people surprisingly in the department meetings and tell them not to share. Politics is the game.
