Pros

Strong focus on safety and quality. Truly global player with footprint just about everywhere in the world. Opportunities for advancement in most areas. People do the right thing and the company values are taken seriously. Lots of people with long service who truly believe in the company. Solid financial results in recent years.

Cons

Often feels focused on short-term... being publicly-traded on the NYSE means a lot of focus on quarterly results and sometimes excessive focus on external perception. Company not growing like it should, meaning a lot of focus on cost savings.
