Pros

Interesting work *Some* fantastic leaders and talented people Supportive culture (or at least it did have this in the past when it was TCEG) Nice office in a good location Office dogs Travel opportunities Great colleagues at delivery level

Cons

Complex structure Since becoming Inizio Engage XD the things that made this a unique, stand out agency have been lost. The kind and caring culture feels a distant memory and it’s more of a churn and burn now. The company wants more more more from you without much in return. Certainly not more pay or a bonus… No bonuses, which I have never experienced at any other agency I’ve worked for Payrises and promotions are not given in line with experience or on merit, but rather on a pre-planned ‘get in the queue’ basis There are regular pay and promotion freezes Too many people in Head of this, Lead of that roles when it’s not clear what they actually do. Especially since the inception of Inizio Every year I have been here people have been made redundant, which is unnerving It lacks that fun agency vibe and there are very few social activities or mixers. When they do happen they’re quite naff… For example, the Christmas party is usually at a chain bar round the corner from the office with a bit of finger food and cheap wine. Lack lustre for an agency who deliver such incredible events… it’s not that this is an essential perk or anything, but it’s one of those things that shows your employees you value what they’ve done in the year gone by and want to celebrate (especially when you’re scrimping on the pay rises and there’s no Christmas bonus). In short, the people at the top don’t give a hoot about the workers, they just want to line their pockets. Once a company with a real difference, now just another corporate meat grinder

Pros

-You'll be exposed to a wide range of different projects depending on the account -You are provided with benefits (medical aid, retirement, UIF, life cover, disability) after 3months of passing probation

Cons

-Be ready to work for extremely long hours without extra pay -No work-life balance -A lot of discrepancies exist between agencies and countries in terms of benefits -Training (structure) offered to the UK writers is different from that offered to the writers in SA. They have 3months of training only, while in SA, you're expected to attend training and work alongside.

Pros

Salary Benefits Some friendly staff

Cons

Will get fired in a heart beat without a decent investigating. Managers get away with anything, are evil, liars, lazy and back stabbers. They don't care if you have a family or if you end up in the street. Co-workers above you will lie for attention and this will definitely get your fired. Don't fall for the smiles and the saying 'we want to help'. They don't uplift the workers. Don't leave your job for this company! Training is poor and you definitely don't have a voice! You will end up suffering!
