Pros

The company has some great and supportive teams at the lower levels. Has good flexible hours and WFH option If preferred.

Cons

Managers exhibit overly controlling and hypercritical behaviour leading to a very micromanagement heavy environment. Lack of autonomy over own work with tasks that I had been completing for years still heavily monitored and critiqued. Praise never given for work. Lower level employees expected to hit 90-100% recoverability increases pressure and results in constantly feel like we're underachieving, and that its impossible to move up the ladder. Many staff seem overworked and burnt out, not helped by the ever-increasing pressure to hit seemingly unreasonable financial targets, resulting in t current work isn’t good enough and leading to very demotivated teams. Pressure to constantly bring in new business results and with continued rate increases clients are rejecting estimates and support. The old culture seems to have completely disappeared and with constantly changing systems everything is becoming overcomplicated. Despite substantial profits there has been very little wage increases and bonuses for lower-level employees, decreasing incentive to remain at the company.

Pros

Easily allowed flexible working Quick to promote

Cons

The job was advertised as a training program, however you were expected to be at a very high standard despite being new to the role Managers treated their staff awfully and had no consideration for their wellbeing The staff turnover in the company is very high, for a good reason.

Pros

Good training for those new to the industry. You can disappear as a tiny cog in a giant corporate machine, if you like that sort of thing. Team members are generally supportive and friendly (although this should be expected).

Cons

Non-competitive compensation. Very high turnover of staff (I lost count of the number of colleagues who left for competitor agencies). Pressure to take on regular evening and weekend work. Overtime was not remunerated. Projects were consistently under-resourced, creating an overall unpleasant and stressful work environment. Employees were encouraged to “make it matter” for patients, while upper management used incessant corporate buzzwords to relentlessly drive profits. Acquisition by private equity was very poorly communicated to the workforce.
