Pros

- Remote Work - Never a dull moment. The jobs are constantly shifting which can be an enjoyable challenge! -Kind co-workers and understanding management. It is constantly shifting so there are lots of opportunities for advancement! - You can set your hours and work anytime between 8am-6pm EST. - You can step away any time you need. - Good benefits

Cons

- The jobs are constantly shifting which can be overwhelming as well. - The main client is Meta and they are influenced heavily by the metrics based and "data backed" responses. - For being a remote job you are still constantly tied to your desk. There is an 8 minute idle timer no matter what when you are in production code and it automatically kicks you to unavailable if you're away for even a second longer. This is time you must make up regardless. So, you can step away whenever, but it is time you must make up. There is no wiggle room.

Pros

Fully remote and lots of variety in the work. Lots of diversity in the workforce.

Cons

Expectations were often vague. I worked hard and had stellar performance reviews, yet was laid off with no warning, along with apparently hundreds of my colleagues.

Pros

Everyone I've worked with who works for Innodata is, with very few exceptions, lovely. There's a real culture encouraging asking questions and asking for help. Since the work is remote, there's also a lot of freedom to do what you want while you work like listening to music, etc. Getting hired was relatively simple, although it took them a while to get back to me.

Cons

-You don't get to choose what project you're working on. I got hired for language work only to find out they had hired too many people in that project and I was going to be doing something completely different. Pretty disappointing. -Absolutely ridiculous metrics demanding you work 8 hours exactly and punishing you if you don't. -The tools the client provides break frequently and you lose production time you're expected to make up elsewhere. -The client in general has vague demands that change constantly and without warning. Even my managers and team leads have insinuated in so many words that they find it disrespectful and unprofessional, despite the fact that they're clearly not allowed to be more critical than that.
