Pros

Benefits are great, pay is not bad but most people complain about the pay as in every job. PTO is accrued pretty fast. Working part time is amazing because it has all the benefits of a full time position but with half the commitment

Cons

Equipment used to register patients is often not working and there is a lot of wasted time just doing nonsense in order to do the job

Great place to start as stepping stone for future medical-related goals

Pros

-Many team members willing to help each other with the goals of patient care -Good benefits -Some pay incentives (differentials) for working evenings, weekends, and nights. -You learn a lot from being in the hospital environment. And you learn a lot more if you apply yourself and ask questions of and make connections with your well-educated/experienced coworkers.

Cons

-Limited paths for growth and advancement as a Clinical Technician. After becoming a preceptor and becoming eligible for the Clinical Technician II title, you max out in this role. -Increases in hourly wages not comparable to inflation.

Long hours but it’s worth it for the 3 day work week
